ADSE proud partner of the Maritime Master Plan

The Maritime Master Plan focuses on the development, construction and use of reliable and competitive climate-neutral ships in the Netherlands, of great importance for the prosperity, safety and energy needs of the country.

On Friday, February 3, 2023, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management submitted the Maritime Master Plan to the assessment committee of the National Growth Fund.

The Maritime Master Plan focuses on the development, construction and use of reliable and competitive climate-neutral ships in the Netherlands. This is of great importance for the prosperity, safety and energy needs of the country. The Maritime Master Plan focuses on the development of climate-neutral ships in four value chains: coastal and inland shipping, hydraulic engineering, offshore wind and maritime safety.

The aim of the plan is to accelerate the maritime energy transition, to increase national security and European strategic autonomy and to strengthen the earning capacity of the Netherlands. This is being tackled by means of climate-neutral demonstration ships, effective cooperation through a cyclical approach and digitization, and a Human Capital programme.

With its knowledge and cross-sectoral experience from aviation, rail and infrastructure projects, ADSE will contribute to the development of the digital platform that enables effective use of information in (digital) collaboration.

The outcome of the growth fund application is expected around the summer. Read more about the Maritime Masterplan at: https://maritiemmasterplan.nl/het-maritiem-masterplan/
