The question from the customer

DMO, the Dutch Defense Ministry ‘s acquisition organization providing the Armed Forces with efficient and safe equipment, is executing the DVOW (Defensiebrede Vervanging Operationele Wielvoertuigen) project. DVOW is an extensive materiel replacement project of the Ministry of Defense in which a large part of the operational wheeled vehicles (trucks, operational vehicles, containers and container lifting trucks) of the Dutch armed forces are being renewed. The program in total consists of 8 projects, concerning more than 6,000 vehicles and 2,500 container systems.

Our solution and added value

ADSE provides a large team of experienced specialists and consultants in the DVOW project as an embedded partner for DMO to ensure the success of the project. As an embedded partner we have been involved in several projects such as to 12kN Manticore (currently under development at Iveco Defence Vehicles), the Containers, and 12 kN Air Assault project, taking responsibility for technical, ILS and project management activities. We participated during acquisition with specification development, supplier selection and contract negotiations. And after contract award our team supported DMO during design, development, testing and entry into service, either as project leader, ILS manager or lead engineer.
