We provide expert feedback at crucial stages of early aircraft development and design stages, by executing Feasibility Studies related to technology, commercial and certification readiness, and Technology Appraisal Studies, in order to prevent costly mistakes and delays further down the line.

Type of work. We perform review sessions, design work packages and consulting, and policy reports. For this type of work we bring a team of experienced professionals for what are usually short projects.

Customers. We perform aircraft conceptual design work mainly for OEMs and governments.

Our scope of services

Key areas of our expertise and experience include:

• Concept Design / Preliminary Design activities for all types of aircraft. This includes activities like requirements definition, operational concept definition, functional design, system architecture development, design trade-offs and workpackage definition
• We execute full-aircraft design reviews and trade-off analyses. We address aircraft systems integration, and design optimization. We perform and encourage multi-disciplinary design co-operation. We advise on the overall conceptual design process. And we can contribute to aircraft-level PDR and CDR.
• Feasibility Studies related to technology, commercial and certification readiness, and Technology Appraisal Studies.
• We specifically address the ‘-ilities’ at an appropriate early stage of the design: design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, sustainability.
• In addition, we provide help on supporting processes: requirements development, configuration management and certification plan.
